SHAND CONNECTIONS

This line starts in the 1500's and the majority of that early information has come from 3 sources :-
1. Betty McKenzies work of the 1980's.
2. A book, "Some Notices of the Surname of Shand" by The Rev. George Shand, published 1877.
The author suggest that the origins are from one family in Aberdeen.
3. The Old Parish Registers, Scotland.
Some side branches are known and I am always willing to be corrected.
